About Dave Dilli
Dave's photographic journey began when he saw the magic of a photograph emerge from a darkroom print while he was a photographer in high school. Since then he has experimented with his photographic style, which has evolved to a unique perspective on the beauty of the American Southwest. Dave strives to capture the essence of what he felt when the image was taken, from the softness of a sunset to the drama of a desert monsoon storm. I am excited to announce that for the month of November 2023, I will be exhibiting my artwork at the Gammage Auditorium, on the ASU campus. Gammage is a Frank Lloyd Wright Designed theater that is used for Broadway Shows, Musicals, and Plays. I was juried into the exhibit, and have a prominent display...

Anne- Elizabeth and Sorin. Thanks for the comments. I was really surprised when I came across these cactus. They were kind of hidden behind some bushes, so it was a nice find!

Dave, This is so gorgeous. Love these colors. I did not know that cacti could have so many different colors. I read your description that this is their natural coloring and you did not add any color in photoshop. Amazing. Love your site. Have added you to my watch list, that's for sure. Smiles, Anne F/V

Thanks Ausra - this is what I used for our family holiday cards last year also. These cactus were at the Phoenix Botanical gardens, and are only about 10" tall.

Thanks Bonnie. These cactus were only about 8 -10" tall, but I really took a double take when I walked by them. I have had several people ask if I colorized them in photoshop.. I appreciate you taking the time to comment!
